Description:

I made the doll myself...a few years ago... she is from the Sycodio mold...and is a Shirley Temple I believe taken from an original 1930s Shirley Temple doll... I call her My BRIGHT EYES SHIRLEY as I hand made her dress exactly like an original 1930s Shirley Temple doll dress depicting the famous plaid one she wore in the movie Bright Eyes...as she stole our hearts and sang... On The Good Ship Lollipop... I carefully copied even down to the onsie...all cotton fabric and lace...things that would be used in the 1930s... The painting was done using an original 1935 Shirley Temple doll also...so she is as close as can be to a correct reproduction of an original 1930s Shirley Temple doll...she is 24 inches tall...and I added a replica 1935 Steiff dog with leash to complete the picture... I really enjoyed working on this Shirley... and hope you enjoy seeing her..
