Please view all photos of this lovely doll then read the description that follow.

Please look at all the photos, I can send you more if you would like, please just ask. This lovely Shirley Temple doll made of composition was produced by the Ideal Toy and Novelty company in the 1930s. Shirley is not restored. She is 11 inches tall and is appropriately marked. Shirley has a lovely blonde mohair wig in great Shirley curls, but it is thin on one side. Shirley has her painted lower lashes and eyebrows. She has original painted lips. Her eyes are blue tin and clear. She is the later make-up version with dark eye shadow on her lids. The 11 inch Shirley Temple dolls are the only Ideal composition dolls with original blue tin eyes. She has her original teeth, tongue, and real upper lashes. Her eyes open and close properly. She has an exceptionally pretty face. Her composition is very good but she has some wear especially around the joints. I do not see cracks or chips. Shirley wears an original well Texas Ranger costume made for the 1936 Texas Centennial. The 11 inch make-up doll is very rare and it is very unusual to find one in this outfit. Her belt is not original as is the scarf. Her boots are reproduction. She has original socks. Everything else is original to the outfit. She comes with her original gun and holster. Shirley is completed with an original pin. This is a gorgeous clean rare doll that is in ver good condition. She has been in my collection for many years. I will really miss her! Shirley comes from a non-smoking home and have no odors or musty smells. Buyer pays priority mail shipping and insurance.
