1930s 16 inch MIB wearing an original dress from "Curly Top"

This lovely Shirley Temple doll made of composition was produced by the Ideal Toy and Novelty company in the 1930s. Shirley is not restored. She is appropriately marked Shirley Temple 16 . She comes in an original box! Shirley has a lovely full blonde mohair wig in the original curlset. The wig is exceptionally pretty. Shirley has her painted lower lashes and eyebrows. Her coloring is great with rosiness to the cheeks and knees. She has original painted lips. Her eyes are glassine and are close to perfectly clear. She has her original teeth, tongue, and real upper lashes. Her eyes open and close properly. She has an exceptionally pretty face. Her composition is excellent but she has some very light crazing. It does not show up in the photos. There is not overall crazing, I do not see cracks or chips. Her dimples are darling!. Shirley wears a lovely tagged original pleated blue dot dress from Curly Top. It is exceptionally crisp and has all of its original ribbons. She has original socks and mint shoes as well as an original onsie. Shirley is completed with an original pin. The box bottom is original and has wear. The original photo on the box is wonderful. The top is a reproduction. This is a very pretty clean minty doll that is in excellent condition. She has been in my collection for many years, and I have really enjoyed her. I will really miss her! Shirley comes from a non-smoking home and have no odors or musty smells. Buyer pays priority mail shipping and insurance. I accept checks and money orders only. I have used Global Express Mail for overseas shipments and it has worked well.
