Please view all photos of this lovely doll then read the description that follow.

Please look at all the photos, I can send you more if you would like, please just ask. This lovely Shirley Temple doll made of composition was produced by the Ideal Toy and Novelty company in the 1930s. Shirley is not restored. She is marked with the IDEAL COP at the head and Shirley Temple 17 on her back. Shirley has a blonde mohair wig which is original though thin in the back. Shirley has her painted lower lashes and eyebrows. She has original painted lips. Her eyes are glassine and are faded with age. She has her original teeth, tongue, and real upper lashes. Her lashes are thin. Her eyes open and close properly. Her composition is good, she is not mint. She does have crazing and paint wear and rubs. There is not overall crazing, I do not see cracks or chips. Shirley wears a lovely reproduction of the Texas ranger outfit. There is not a holster and gun. She has older socks and shoes. This is a very pretty clean doll that is reasonably priced and display ready and sweet to look at. Shirley comes from a non-smoking home and have no odors or musty smells.
