Knowledgeable, caring, doctor!

The staff, even from when I walked in, were really friendly and just had really good attitudes. And my doctor is always amazing, Dr. Citron. She's very patient and not judgy. She doesn't rush me off. She takes time and really knows me. And I always feel very well taken care of and very well advised when I see her. And again, I do appreciate the rest of the staff as well.

The staff were okay at the front desk, and the assistant was a little rude at first, but then she warmed up and was very nice. But I would recommend it. I would recommend it highly. Thank you.

Need recommendations for health issues.

I've been a patient there for approximately 5 years. Dr Citron is very professional, personable, and caring. You NEVER feel as if you're "just a number" The entire staff makes you feel like "family"

I have never felt as comfortable with a doctor as I do with Dr. Citron. She takes great care of me, physically and emotionally.

I really appreciated the call to schedule for a yearly exam. I've been struggling with a few minor health concerns for a while. I had every question answered and multiple things resolved . Walked out feeling great and complete! The medical assistant I remember from my last appointment. She's an asset. Dr Citron is the best and it was really nice to see everyone without a mask.

Very pleasant staff and doctor made me feel heard and comfortable. Nice office. To my surprise and gratitude, Dr. Citron recommended a different muscle relaxant for my jaw muscle inflammation, that does not cause drowsiness - a welcome relief to previous med on which I had to fight constant drowsiness.

Yes, I like Dr. Alissa Citron very very much. She takes the time to listen to the patient, their concerns, and is happy and... answers questions, speaks directly to me. She is one of the nicest and seems like compassionate doctors that I have met in a long time. I felt like Dr. Citron was truly interested in my concerns and questions and took her time to address them. I felt very comfortable. I even followed up with an email question on My Beaumont Chart and she responded within a couple of hours.

I needed a new primary care as my previous doctor retired. I selected Dr.Citron by the scientific method of "closest to my office". Turned out to be a very lucky choice. She's probably the best PCP I've had. She listens,asks me many questions, makes sure I know what's currently happening and what I need to do next. I really appreciate Dr Citron's diligence.

It was my first visit (which is why Dr. Citron didn't know my history) and I was so pleased with everything. The office people were fast and helpful and the doctor was in my room at my appt time. Dr. Citron was a wonderful doctor. He, that's the first time I met her, meeting her and she takes the time to go through all my records even from years and years to determine what my history bar, and we also discussed some of the current issues with that I have and she also give a lot of recommendation and referral to a different doctors that was different specialist. I felt that that was returned was a wonderful doctor, and I was very, very happy with her. And I highly recommend her to anyone. She seems to care about the patients.

When my A1C was 9.5 you assumed it was correct and prescribed medicine for diabetes. Today my A1C was 5 and you assumed it was incorrect and sent bloodwork to an independent lab to recheck it. You should have rechecked it at 9.5 to be sure before prescribing diabetes medicine.

I regularly experience poor customer service from the administrative and other support staff at this practice. This time, despite being offered a telephone visit for a specific time, receiving multiple communications with instructions telling me to be available to receive a phone call within a specified 1/2 hour window, and being requested to check in for a visit with a specified time, when the doctor failed to call within that time and I called to see what was the problem, the staff told me "that's not how it works," with telephone visits, and instead that the doctor would simply call me, "sometime before the end of the day." When I was insistent that I be told a specific time when the doctor would call as per all of the instructions, the staff told me she couldn't because she, "isn't the doctor." When I brushed off her insincere apology ("I'm sorry you are upset") and instead insisted that she fix the issue by insuring the doctor would call, she laughed at me while hanging up. I have had similar interactions with the staff at this office, from them not being able or willing to send referral materials, to them promising return phone calls and never actually calling back, to them calling in the wrong medication dosage after I requested a refill of a medication prescription their office had prescribed. I get no indication that they care much about my well-being or that they recognize me or connect any history to me at all. Likewise, I have encountered that the nursing staff is not skilled enough to be able to draw my blood. I will say that when Dr Citron does eventually interact with me she does seem to care and be knowledgable about my conditions and responsive to my concerns, but things in the office have not ever really changed in the years I have been a patient, despite my pointing out various concerns in that time.

I love to go to this office. All personal are listening very careful and try to help most is possible. Dr. Citron is most kind and high professional doctor.I feel very satisfied with my experience!
