1. Half Ass Acres

Half Ass Acres is a miniature donkey breeder operating out of Chapel Hill, 35 miles south of Nashville, Tennessee.

The donkeys they raise and offer for sale are a mix of jennets and jacks. Owners Joe and Dayle Haworth, are glad to hold donkeys interest free for up to 150 days.

Discounts for multiple purchases are also available.

All their donkeys are vaccinated and microchipped to complete with Miniature Donkey Registry regulations.

2. Presswood Farm

Presswood Farm describes itself as a “small hobby farm in the hills of East Tennessee”. They specialize in raising miniature donkeys and other animals.

There isn’t a great deal of info about them available on the web but they are known locally and are based in Philadelphia, TN.

Their herdsires include Braying Acres Storm Trooper 30.5 inches black and Lawzyday’s Prince Ardon 30.5 inches red.

The owner, John Presswood, prefers to communicate via email.

3. Wee Ones Farm

Wee Ones Farm is famous for being home to tyger-spotted donkeys. They’re a very family-friendly farm and are super welcome to visitors.

The farm describes it’s number one goal as “breed, raise and sell Top Quality Miniature Donkeys for breeding, show or pet.” They breeding stock is chosen on size, color, pedigree and disposition.

Owners L. J. and Deb offer personal consultations to all buyers and even provide aftercare.

4. Little Miracles Farm

Little Miracles are a miniature and mammoth donkey breeder located 15 minutes west of Shelbyville, 25 miles southeast of Nashville.

Owner Maria has over 20 years equine experience, vet tech schooling and years of education from Dayle, owner at Half Ass Acres.

DOC Farms is owned by Janet Jones and is a small family farm based in east Tennessee.

They specialize in raising miniature donkeys and pygmy goats.

6. TK’s Mountain Ridge Farm

TK’s Mountain Ridge Farm sell mini blue eyed ivory donkeys. They are based in Charlotte, 45 minutes northwest of Nashville and 20 minutes south of Clarksville.

Their donkeys are registered with the Miniature Mediterranean Donkey Registry.

All the animals on the farm – both pygmy goats and donkeys – have free roam of 70 acres.

Dee’s Blacks And Spots is run by Dee Schroeder. It’s situated between Nashville and Knoxville in the small rural community of Sparta.

The farm has been raising registered miniature donkeys for over 20 years. The have solid black, dark brown, gray and white spotted jennets of various sizes.

8. Legendary Farms

This farm was started by two married Californian urbanites who moved out to Tennessee. They specialize in raising both baby miniature and cobra miniature donkeys.

Since starting out in 2008, Legendary Farms has come a long way. Their animals have won awards at the Tennessee State Fair and other NMDA shows several times over.
