The class was a lot of work but Professor Sherwood broke it down to where it wasn't overwhelming. He genuinely cared about his students and gave great feedback on assignments. If he taught any other course I needed, I'd take him again in a heartbeat!

There's a lot of work in this class. Many things are due each week, but they're busy work. The professor is great and always available for questions. He grades lightly and is very understanding. There's one large paper that's due at the end of the course, so start working on it early. You'll learn a lot in this course and I would recommend him!

One of my favorite teachers I've had at UNLV. Genuinely cares about his students and their success. Class is easy, yet teaches you so much because of how he teaches and formats his class. Completely changed my views on innovation, technology, and AI. The final project can be a lot, so definitely start as soon as you can on it.

Best class you can take, although there can be a lot of work each week (7-10), he did listen to feedback and reduced it to 5 a week. Very kind and genuinely wants students to learn. A lot of extra credit is given so if you fail it's 100% on you, and if you miss some assignments you should still pass by doing the EC. Best class 10/10 recommend,trust

The professor is really great. He is clear about what he expects from you and your class, but he is willing to adjust his workload and such based on your class feedback. The assignments are pretty hefty but straightforward and simple. He also provides a lot of extra credit that varies. There are so many things I want to say but take his class.

If you have a very busy schedule, DO NOT take him! He's actually an excellent professor because the work is easy, but he assigns 8-10 assignments a week with half of them being discussions with small mini-essays and additional quizzes. I've taken online classes but none were as much time consuming as this class.

Professor Sherwood was great and watching his online lectures were fun. I learned new things in this class. Summer- a lot of easy short assignments, a couple of easy papers, extra credit, an individual app project (easy), and a few short quizzes. I got 103% in this class. EASY A*** and you will learn new things. GREAT PROFESSOR. HIGHLY RECOMMEND.

An awesome professor, took a modern approach to teaching instead of trying to stick to the book. He cares about his students and pushes us to remember to enjoy ourselves as we're pursuing our education/careers. Professor Sherwood is by far the best professor. He motivates his students, provides feedback, and promptly responds to emails. There is no textbook, but there's a lot of homework. The final project is big, but he breaks it down into a section per week. Everything is very doable, but you must make time for this class.

Professor Sherwood was excellent! There were a bunch of smaller assignments (discussion posts, quizzes, and miscellaneous tasks) and one major project that is the final. The small assignments were very reasonable and easy if you stay on top of them. The major project is also manageable if you do each section as he teaches it. Take this class!

Great professor; made this one of the easiest classes I've ever taken. He is extremely generous with extra credit. The class was mainly composed of discussion boards, quizzes, and one final project. Don't wait until last minute to complete the project, there are a lot of components to it. He provides helpful feedback on assignments. Take his class!

TAKE THIS PROFESSOR!! He offers a lot of extra credit, if you fail this class then you just literally do not care. In his online class, he shared a lot of interesting videos and we had to do discussion posts on the videos. There is one big project at the end of the semester that is time-consuming but it was fun!

Great class! He had to jump in for my professor mid semester and he did a great job with the transition. He was a quick grader and gave lots of extra credit opportunities. I took his IS 330 Remote Summer Course. Very easy class for the most part. You grade is mostly based on participation for thoughtful discussion posts. There is a one project for the class that will take a lot of your time. I highly recommend to get started on it as soon as possible.
